My Tanning Top Tips
🤎 Pre Tan

Have a patch test if you've not used self tanning moisturisers before

Buff away (exfoliate) dry skin 24hrs before, everywhere on the body including the neck area!

Wax/shave at least 48hrs before, don't use moisture Strip Razors!

Moisturise generously the days leading up to your appointment

Rinse off any products such as deodorants, oils, makeups before you arrive

Do not shower within 4 hours before having you're tan, if you do make sure it's a cool shower and not hot! We don't want to tan open pours!

Opt for dark LOOSE clothing for after and open toe shoes

Tie your hair up

🤎 Post Tan
The first 24hrs after your tan will make or break how it looks! With proper care you will keep the glow.

Stay dry whilst it's developing (6-8 hrs), If you have had the Rapid then 2-4 hours

Wear loose clothing after your tan, and to sleep in whilst developing. No skin on skin! You are better wearing loose tracky or PJ bottoms and a loose long sleeved top

Toothpaste will strip your tan so be careful when brushing you're teeth

If you are likely to get sweaty add a light dusting of talc to areas, armpits - around boobies - arm creases - between thighs

Wait to shower, use luke warm water, no gels, make you're showers shorter

Pat dry with your towel, do not rub!

Moisturise after your shower and continue to moisturise twice a day

Avoid touching/rubbing you're skin. No one wants brown palms and fingers!

When going for a wee, wipe wipe wipe! We don't want dribbles down your legs during development, this will strip your tan.

Swimming, hot baths, and hot tubs can significantly fade tan, so it's best to steer clear of these activities. Remember to moisturise daily to keep your skin hydrated and maintain that glow. Drink lots of water, it really helps!
